Five copy-and-paste AI prompts for a dating profile that sounds like you on a good day. Use AI as an interviewer, not an author.
1. The Interviewer
"Ask me ten short questions that would uncover stories, preferences, quirks, rituals, and specific details I could use in a dating profile. Ask one at a time."
2. Prompt answers that invite a reply
"Using these true interests [list], create 15 dating-profile prompt answers that naturally invite a response. Keep each under 25 words. Make them playful but appropriate for adults. Do not invent details."
3. Photo-set review
"I have these profile photos: [describe them]. Based only on my descriptions, what does each communicate? Does the set show enough variety: clear face, social context, interests, and personality? Do not rate my attractiveness."
4. The N.O.T.E. opener
"Create eight first-message ideas based only on this dating-profile detail: [detail]. My natural tone is [tone]. Make the messages curious and relaxed. No pickup lines, sexual comments, canned compliments, or invented common interests. Keep each under 25 words."
5. From interview to story
"Rewrite these interview-style dating questions into warm, story-based questions: [list]. Keep them natural for adults and avoid making them overly intimate too early."
The resume test
Read your profile and circle every phrase that could appear on LinkedIn. Then ask what you would say instead if you were telling this to someone over dinner. That is almost always the better version.
Before you send anything, ask: would I actually say this aloud? Does it reference something real? Could it be shorter? Keep private details out of every prompt: your address, workplace specifics, and photos of your children.
AI should be your wingman, not your impersonator.
