Signs of grounded attraction

  • I'm excited to see him again.
  • I'm curious to learn more about him.
  • I'm attracted to the person I've actually experienced.
  • I can continue with my normal life while this develops.
  • I don't need to know immediately where this is going.
  • I'm still evaluating whether I want him.

Signs uncertainty may be amplifying attraction

  • I'm repeatedly checking my phone.
  • His response time is affecting my mood.
  • I'm replaying the date looking for mistakes.
  • I'm imagining a relationship we haven't built.
  • I'm thinking more about whether he likes me than whether I like him.
  • His withdrawal makes me want him more.

The Withdrawal Test

Does my attraction increase when his availability decreases? If he goes quiet for two days and relief floods in when he finally texts, notice: you did not learn anything new about his compatibility. The uncertainty simply disappeared for a moment.

Do I miss him, or do I miss knowing that he wants me?

Chemistry earns another date. It does not earn automatic trust. Trust requires evidence.
